Who Creates This?
I’m Hakan Ozturk, a professional photographer based in Paris.
My work has been published globally through Adobe Stock, where I’ve sold thousands of images. I’ve spent 15+ years shooting stock, landscape, wildlife, and drone photography.
I started Photo Cultivator because I was tired of seeing beginners waste money on overpriced gear they didn’t need, and experienced photographers stuck repeating the same mistakes.
My goal: Help you take better photos without the gatekeeping, gear worship, or marketing hype that dominates photography education.
How I Make Money (Full Transparency)
Photo Cultivator is free to read with a paid tier for deeper insights. To keep it that way, here is exactly how this newsletter is supported:

Some gear links in my articles are Amazon affiliate links. If you click and buy, I earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. This never influences which products I recommend. I only link to gear I would genuinely suggest to a friend, and I turn down affiliate programs for products I wouldn’t stand behind.

Premium members ($9/month or $90/year) support the newsletter directly and get step-by-step tutorials, downloadable presets, and cheat sheets in return.
